Order

Process

Use sound in process

The user will hear a beep if the product is scanned.

To identify goods in process, each Buffer and Stack needs to be identified unique.

To seperate buffer from stack, the id-format must be set different. Set the format in the settings area under system > settings > order > process

Standard Clougistic settings for buffers are identified as INT+number and a stack as STK+number. INT237 and STK237 are both valid, where INT237 could be a bin and STK237 a location.

Internal Buffer ID Format

Hold goods for further processing, identified by an unique internal ID used to move between pick and pack area. A buffer holds goods for only 1 order untill it reach the packing process. Based on size of an order Clougistic assigns 1 or more buffers to the order or even to one orderrow (if the amount to pick exceeds the buffersize).

When a buffer reach packing and there are more buffers needed to complete the order the packer will be forced to put the goods on stack.

Internal Stack ID format

A stack is used to complete orders. Stack can be assigned to goods after picking.

Goods can be stacked directly after picking without using buffers if goods don't fit the buffer.

Picking

Slot Format

Slots on a Logistic Unit are identified starting with this code. Standard code is A. So if a Logistic Unit is configured with 8 slots the picker will be directed to put goods in slot A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H (8). If a Logistic Unit has only 1 slot (like a pallet) the Slot will be A.

Single Scan Treshold

The quantity threshold a picker needs to scan. For example the threshold is set to 15 and the order row quantity is 12pcs, the picker need to scan 12 times to proceed to the next orderrow in his batch. If the order row quantity is more, only one 1 scan will proceed.
