Receiving

Prerequisites

• Receiving is possible for items from production and purchase orders with state processing.

• Raw materials to produce a finished product (the one to receive) should be shipped to production prior to receiving.

Maximum receivable

The receivable quantity maximum is calculated for all item types (purchase or production). It's not possible to receive a higher quantity than purchased. 

If a higher quantity is entered in the reception form a failure notice will be shown like:

Failure:  Qty [1] exceeds maximum receivable of [0].  In this case you like to receive a quantity of 1 but the maximum receivable quantity is 0.
